Back in the beginning of the 1980s there was an underground movement that has been named hardcore punk. It revolved around youngsters, mostly boys that would form bands and set up some portable bleachers and perform a brief set of songs. For the majority of individuals, once they think of hardcore, the 1st place they consider is New York. And with great cause too, the N.Y.H.C. film scene is maybe one of the well-known on the earth of heavy music. Bands like Black Flag, the Germs, Middle Class, Fear, Fugazi, Sick of It All, Teen Idles, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, and the Rollins Band were well known. Hardcore bands originally were rhythmically looser and heavier than their forerunners like The Clash, and the Sex Pistols and played with more intensity than punk bands generally did. Later the movement began to tighten rhythmically and the intensity increased as bands integrated the energy of genres like heavy metal into their sonic repertoire. In addition the style contains the social activism and political consciousness, anarchism of other movements with it to develop a movement very distinct from its punk roots. FELON is a hardcore Brooklyn band, which inspires its songs from the streets and the world situation and expresses its rebellion nature. Their songs vary from UK 80's hardcore to crust punk. Four musicians from different origins Teddy Hampton, Danny "Diablo" LaTouche, Dirty Sanchez, Kute Tongue related by punk within the setting of a multiracial band, infecting the streets with rebelliousness and striving to let their own voices be heard. Featuring d-beat and devastating guitar rhythms, their new debut record album is along the lines of Exploited, Discharge and Bad Brains. Bringing their love for fast in your face punk rock to your ears in the best way they know how, hardcore street punk.
